Screening DK@ Blickle Kino / »as we scroll« [Lecture Tina Kult]
- Juli 2026
Today, a handful of tech monopolies shape the digital infrastructures in which collective narratives emerge. Content is continuously generated, gestures repeat, memes mutate, and as we scroll, the question of what produces these forms fades into the background, along with who determines what becomes visible. The works of the artists from the Digital Art class (UBERMORGEN, University of Applied Arts Vienna) focus on practices of navigation, sharing, and staging: a faceless selfie; a belief system centered around a tofu being; a dream that interrupts routine before it completely consumes us. The work DECODING Katy Perry’s Dark Horse (THE WHOLE TRUTH) by Karin Ferrari, which opens the program, offers an expanded perspective on digital logics and the production of reality.
